    A New Legislative Simulation RPG

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to announce that as of 2400HRS 23 July 2003, National Government Simulation: America is officially open to all those who wish to join.

It is our sencere hope that in creating National Government Simulation: America that we carry on the legacy that our precedecers have set before us. For the name NGS, was once a thing of greatness. And with NGS:A we hope that it can be once again.

In creating NGS:A we have hoped to add new levels of complexity and enjoyment to the simulated legislative experience. This is done with a simulated budget, and a bicameral Legislature.

So please, come in and see what we have done. And hopefully, with you joining us you may contribute to the legacy of NGS, and make it once again a name recognized through out the net for its thoughtful debate, active discussions, and well written legislation.

Below I shall provide a link, here it is:

    James --

I guess my first question is: are you all going to take steps to keep this more two-party than the original NGS was? As much fun as I had in my short time there, I was really put off by the overwhelming numbers of libertarians, socialists and ultra-conservatives that seemed to dominate the discussion and turned NGS into a parliamentary simulation, rather than a simulation of American politics.

It will start out 2 party, however due to consessions to other groups, inorder to increase possible membebership, we had to leave a clause in our rules for there to be a way for them to create new parties. It is harder now, however, a minimum 10 people are required and a 2/3 vote of all other members is required to do so.

    Sorry, I tried . . . but I got veto'd on that one.
