i was finally able to purchase a copy of starships from my local bookstore after a 3 week wait and i must say i was disappointed. the expanded ship constrution rules were ok .but the art work was horrible you would trhink with all the photos and previously released aart work for the shows that they could have done much better.the fed scout ship is one prime example my baby brother who is 12 could look at the movie insurrection and draw something the resembled it better,and the romulean thete class warp shuttle was replaced by photos and drawings of a romulean scout ship with a third nacelle

Generally it is mixed emotions around here about the Starships book. I personally like it, and use it unchanged. I still hate the art though.
