I've watched the majority of the Xindi episodes again (thanks to the miracle that is TiVo!) and found that the Xindi do not use torepdoes or other missile weapons. Instead they seem to use either plasma or particle beam weapons.
They also appear to have neither defensive shields nor tractor beam technologies. This means that they either a.) have heavier armor and/or b.) hull polarization systems; for some reason I think that it's the former rather than the latter.
Also - as for the Xindi FTL travel via the subspace vortices - I think that I would represent this as higher-powered warp engines that a.) require additional time to use, b.) have a limited range, and c.) render ships in-transit undetectable in normal space.
I'd further suggest that these portals are generated using the deflector array. They seem incompatible with Starfleet technologies, and thus Enterprise had to be carried along through one rather than simply following. I'd guess that Xindi technology is specifically designed to use this method of FTL travel instead of traditional warp travel, perhaps involving more powerful structural integrity field systems.
On an unrelated note, do Starfleet's (and other races') impulse systems produce exhaust or are they reactionless?

From the episode where they went underwater in the Xindi shuttle - they said it had almost all of the ships energy routed through it's structural integrity field.
Also some of the ships don't seem to have warp Nacelles so you could be right about the deflector array.

This it the D7 that appeared on the ENT episode, "Unexpected". Like Snake said there's probably 2 to 3 that Klingons own and its pretty huge for a ship in that era.

Mac,
In the season finally they do have torpedoes. Degra's ship fired one at the reptiles as a warning I think.
The Reptilian ship also fired 3 torpedos in the last episode. I also believe they were plasma torpedoes, judging by the visuals.
Well you could just take the same liberty that Decipher did with the Cardassians - they just MOSTLY don't use them but you aren't barred from making ships with them on if need be.. They could simply be energy bolts like the pulse phasers on the defiant, though I suspect that the spoken words on the show said fire torpedoes hehe

Yah, I noticed that the Xindi-Reptilians had torpedoes in that last episode, too.
Do they have shields? Tractor beams? I need to know!

P.S. Nice Klingon ship, Space_Cadet.

This is added to the stats for the D-5, if anyone is using this ship during 2250's-2260's.
This is the Klingon ship that was shown on the episode "Bounty". I'm guessing that its a tranport vessel based on that it doesn't share the design aesthetics of a typical Kligon ship made for tactical purposes.
