    Moria Boxed set

    Hello all!

Has any one picked this up yet? How does it look?

What is the Map generator / tile set like?

I am hoping that the contents will allow me to randomly create Moria as the players make their way through it, to simulate the sheer vastness of it.

Is that what this is for? And if so, can it accomplish this task?

    Thanks for any help!

I bought the set about a week ago and i was pretty impressed. It has information on the seven Dwarf houses, new character packages, species modifiers, orders, and equipment. This is just the small book. The 96 page book contains tons of information about Moria and allows you to generate endless caverns with ease. It contains quite a few hall maps, 12 i believe, and another map of the different halls. it also has two campaign ideas and a system for random orc encoutners. I got it for about $37. I would say it is a pretty good supplement if you use Moria alot in your game.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks a lot!

I plan on a complete campaign in which my PCs heroes journey to Moria and attampt to retake it with the dwarves.

Sounds like this is a must.

    Appreciate the response!

Just glad i could help. If you do plan to have a long campaign in Moria this is truely a must have, unless you have a great imagination, which i don't.

Thumbs up Got my copy today

This boxed set rocks on toast.

Even if you're not going to run a game in Moria, this boxed set has value. A 32-page book on Dwarves that adds tons of new options for players who want more for their Dwarvish characters.

Rules for traps and pitfalls, a map generator system, a bunch of generic map tiles that you could use for any dungeon crawl or adventure, and lots and lots of great artwork for visuals and idea-generating.

The Moria boxed set isn't just for Moria. I highly recommend checking it out.
