    Interesting about this Khan fellow...

I have Kane (Khan's son, not the WWE dude) showing up a bit later in the series because I figured that if Khan was married to the Starfleet girl then they may of had a son. Put my crew in the (almost) same situation (use more techobabble) and see how they ride it out. Will they raise the shields, scan the ship, allow the "emergency transport" of personnel the ship. As for Kirk I don't mind him being in our campaign, I was looking for ways to bring him back. I have him living on the Ba'ku homeworld in the Badlands living out the simple life like in the Nexus in Generations (I figured that's were he would go). Just wondering what you wizards came up with on how he may have got there.

And for Cybrludite: "Is Kirk alive?" *Beep*

My personal opinion would be to say "Sure, Kirk can be back." and then subject him to the same kind of out-of-placeness that Scotty experienced and/or have him drummed out of Starfleet for sexual harassment of some alien diplomat. Or, as another possibility, he has to realize that this isn't your Starfleet. Can Kirk actually be a diplomat without shoving his ideals down someone's throat? Can he live with the Federation and Klingons being allies? The 24th century shows us the better place that Kirk and company helped create, but I don't think he'd be able to adapt to it very easily, if at all.

He he he... you just gave me an evil idea... Kirk stumbling upon the 24th century, and believes it to be an incredibly repressive parallel universe which he'll intend to set right (either by going back in time to alter the future or by trying to influence it from inside)...

BTW, I don't see anyone being prosecuted for sexual harrassment, even in TNG. To my knowledge, this never happened to Riker.
