You know, I certainly don't mind people coming onto the boards and advertising their RPGs....but it's another thing all together when they make it read like the spam I get in my email, especially when its the advertiser's first post!

Just out of curiousity, how would one advertise a game without makint it look like an advertisement.

I didn't say that, Arnold. I said that it looked like spam, where the sender either a) tries to pass the email off as something else entirely, or b) sends it to you in a familiar manner, as if some imaginary friend is sending you an email (which is what this person did). That annoys the hell out of me.
In my opinion, ravena's post is spam, not an advert. An advert would look something like this:

Actually been a lurker here for a while, I finally sep foreward and this is how I am treated? I am not a recruiter or even running the thing, I make it a habbit of Not pushing anything down anybody's throat. If you want it look at it otherwise don't.
I signed up to these fourms so I could post a link to a great rp I found. I see your point though. Did not mean to step on anybody toes.
