Is there a book in the works for the ST Enterprise era?
Is there a book in the works for the ST Enterprise era?
There are several. Check Amazon.com for a full list.
I've read "What Price Honor?", which ties in (distantly) to a TOS episode. It was interesting enough to keep me reading the whole novel, but far from the best Trek novel I've ever read.
Other titles include "Surak's Soul", novelizations of "Broken Bow" and "The Expanse", and the forthcoming "Daedelus". I've read none of these and cannot comment.
I think Markraven's question was about an RPG Enterprise source book (correct me if I'm wrong).
Anyway, an Enteprise sourcebook was supposed to be included in the Limited Edition, but I don't remember if this is still scheduled.

Ah, you're probably right.
I seem to recall Don Mappin knew what was in the "limited edition" supplement -- maybe he wrote it? Perhaps he'll see this thread.
Yeah, sorry, I did mean a RPG book. This era of ST is about the only one I am interested in running to be honest, though I did find what I happened to catch about the Dominion War (when I fell upon a DS9 ep) to be interesting.
Yes, I wrote the "Enterprise" SB for the Star Trek Limited Edition set. It was intended to be a 32-page full-color add-on for the "Enterprise"-era. I was pleased with the material. It covered season 1 through "Fallen Hero" and what little bits I could safely put in from "Shockwave" prior to the episode airing.
At this point I don't know what Decipher's plan is for said material. I've been paid so it's out of my hands.Portions of that material have appeared in other books, such as my Suliban entry in "Aliens" (unfortunately, un-credited) and the NX-class/shuttlepods in "Starships."
With that said, if I got a call and they asked me to update the manuscript to include the 2nd and 3rd seasons, I'd be interested. I'd demand hazard pay, however.
For more specific details, either Matt or Jesse will have to weigh in on the topic.

I have the Player's Guide. And about the only reason I would buy anyother TREK book or play the game was if there was an actual ENTERPRISE book.
I look forward to when an actual book hits the shelves then I can take mine off my game shelf and dust it off.
Thanks for the speedy reply!
