Styro - why were you guys looking for "dolls" on the internet?

    Hmmmmm?

We have all your working biros and we're not afraid to use them.

Leave a box of used postit notes and a box of paperclips inside the filling cabinet and things won't get nasty.

Already bought mine! Immediately swapped out the chest for the bigger... uh oh- back off Liz! My doll. Mine, mine.

Actually I put a flightsuit and other gear on her and she graces my shelf as a hot rock, female fighter jock(ette)- complete with Desert Eagle, helmet, and mirrorshades.

This is part of BBI's Cygirls collection. Blue Box Toys put together an entire set of these action figures wearing skintight leathers and spandex, each with an assortment of heavy firepower and other accessories. BBI normally does military and anime action figures and these are as detailed as any of this stuff gets.

The perfect body figure is for the collector who wishes to customize his figure.

The biggest problem I had with my doll was that her hair wasn't quite right. Have you ever tried to cut a doll's hair? Well, my results are okay, but it was a near disaster.

No, no, no, JonA. These are not dolls. These are action figures. You know? Like GI Joe? Relax.

(As if painting and collecting gaming miniatures were any different. It's just a matter of size... )

Yep, I'm the one that showed them the "Perfect Body" doll in the first place. I actually own a couple of the BBI Cy-Girls and one of the PB figures (which I used for creating a custom). These figures are high quality and very well made..these are not flimsy Barbie dolls by any means. BTW you might be interested to know that BBI has released a new line of PB figures: Caucasian blonde, African American, and Oriental. These use the same body type as the previous PB figures.

In fact, this is something of a recent trend; some companies are making "Basic" figures that can be used as a base for making custom figures. While custom figures have been around for a long time, it is only recently that some companies have begun catering to this niche market.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.
