Cheap campaign journals

Hey all,

This is kinda cool... I was in my local Barnes & Noble yesterday. They've got the LOTR Journals on their bargain shelf. Note, these are the red & black blank books, not the LOTR RPG character journal.

I think they were each $4.98, marked down from $12.95.

Anyway, so I bought one of each. My plan is to use the red "Ring" one for a running narrative account of what actually happens in my game from session to session. The black one is going to be my GM's notebook. Just stuff it full of all the little maps, notes, ideas, etc. that are making up my game.

It's geeky, I know... but having all my GM notes in a black leather journal embossed with a silver "Lord of the Rings" logo on the spine, and the silver stormcrow logo on the front is just too cool.

So, take a look for them. You might be able to get a few of them cheap.

Thanks for the head's up. I'll have to take a look. Maybe my B&N discount card will work on bargain books too.
