Hey, there must be a way to sort things out and get back to normal. I mean we are all sensible people. Mistakes have been made on both sides, and an apology would be approporiate, but if they get banned for what they have posted yesterday then others, who have been calling people names over a much longer time, without any signs of improvement, should be banned as well.

I don't think you or Styro can win this one, Elizabeth. It's not your playground. You can try all the tricks in the world, and even advertise the fact, but ultimately, one of two things will happen: you will be endlessly banned, or you will be reduced to a joke; the person people only remember as "that annoying poster the mods can't seem to get rid of". Now, it's up to you if that's the legacy you want. But maybe you want to think about it.

Okay, based on the above, i'd like to drop in my ha'pennys worth if that's okay.

I've been reading a lot of the posts put on the forums recently, and i'm sorry if i'm just repeating the obvious, or stuff that's already been said, but i'd like to drop in my piece then let it rest from my point of view.

Personally i found the thread that started all of this quite funny, but that's just me. Some might not have. & if they complained to a Mod, fair enough. Me, though, i mainly come to this forum 'cause i like to run a Star Trek game with some friends, and this is a great place to get ideas, ask questions, and generally be annoying.

It's also a great place to have a laugh, as there are a few threads you can have a read of, join in, and relax with a little (*LOT*) of sillyness.

It's FUN !!!

Now the Mods are here to keep the peace, and settle differences, & if someone complains, fine. they've got the authority to put a lid on something. I personally was a little upset the thread was pre-emtivly closed, but that's what the mods are here for. & if i really disagreed, i'd mail him.

I was sorry to hear that Liz & Styro have been banned, i'm a little confused as to exactly why, but then perhaps i haven't seen all the posts. I don't know

But this is a trek forum, and i'd hate to see any bad feelings, or to see the funnies stop over what is basically a little harmless humour.

Just my opinion though
