    Upgraded Excelsior Class from DS9

    Hello everybody,

I am looking for the Upgraded Excelsior Class stats for the USS Lakota that were posted on the old Trek-rpg site. If anybody has them, I'd really appreciate a copy.

    Thanks

And does anybody have the stats for the Enterprise B Excelsior variant? I believe the USS Lakota was the same model as the Enterprise B from Generations, wasn't it?

Well for a non game specific set of data, the DITL website details all three - the Excelsior, the Enteprise B and the lakota, from their three respective era's of technology.

    http://www.ditl.org/hedship.php?fedexcelsior

Since in most systems the technical specifications tends to be abstracted (well especially in the case of the CODA system) , you can take what you want it all to mean in terms of game mechanics, but that give you a basic idea to begin with.

The site seems to be suffeing from some glitchiness. to find it go to http://www.ditl.org - and hit Fed Ships > Excelsior

My fist impression was that she's way overpowered weaponery-wise but then I figured it makes sense. In that DS9 ep she gave the Defiant a very hard time and I clearly remember O'Brian expressing his amazement at her capabilities; saying something like there was no Excelsior class ship with that kind of firepower. What I like here is that on the defensive side she's also a tough ship but only reasonably so. She could dish out almost as much as a Sovereign class but she wouldn't be able to take as strong a beating. All in all very interesting design.
