    Post character generator

Hi I dont seem to be getting a responce on the topic listed for reliant char generator so i will ask here:

How do you add stuff to the generator?
By that I mean how do i do the text files and configure the generator to recognize them? If someone could send me a sample one to look at I will give them a nice furry little tribble absolutely free!!!!!!!

    Help,
    Confused

Poke around inside the folders, Confused. There are files in there and they show you how to modify them. The readme documentation should give a moderate example of how to structure the files, but it's not perfectly clear in all places. It just takes some tinkering around. If you break it, download it again.

Sorry about the lack of response, real life has swamped me of late.

It depends on what kind of additions you wish to make, where you need to look. At the highest level, the config.ini file in the main directly lists the ranks and order of creation (race, career, tours od duty, ...). To add to that, you would need to add an entry to the [Order], [Order Description], and [Reverse Order] sections.

Next is the Data subdirectory, with one folder for each step in the order. Each of these folders has a List.ini file listing the options available, each option has its own .dat file listing the traits and skills associated with that option.

There is more detailed information on this in the readme.txt file that should be in the zip file.

I am still short on time, but I will try to answer any further questions quicker than I did this time.
