Post Looking for an ST game in SLC

    Hi there,

I still would like to participate in a LUG or Decipher type ST game to see how it works out.

I'm in Salt Lake City, and I'm a game writer. The reason for my curiosity is basic. I would like to try out all the games that I've bought.

I currently have LUG ST:TNG and LUG: The Price of Freedom. Now I would like to play a Theoretical Engineer or a JAG officer. Depending on my mood.

I'm looking for a game in Salt Lake City.
    Thanks.
    I love real life

    Lightbulb

You may want to contact myself or Doug Burke; we're both in Salt Lake and both run Trek regularly.

My qualifications are on the credits page of the Decipher PG, NG and a few LUG books.

    BTW, welcome aboard!

Wow. Sorry I missed this one. As Don pointed out, we're both in the SLC area and I am currently running a Trek game set in the period between the TOS movies and TNG. Feel free to drop me a line if you wnat more information.

We're not playing Trek at the moment (Stargate) but you're welcome to drop me a line if you're looking for a group. May be able to work something out.

Well, like Don, my group isn't currently playing Trek, but if you're interested in a semimonthly game of SAS, let me know.

I'm not. I'm pretty much a lapsed catholic with delusions of agnosticism. But don't let that scare you. Some of my best friends and relatives are Mormon.

    Dumb Question of the day

I'd like to burn my official dumb question for today and ask:

What the devil is SAS? And where do I sign up?

SAS is Silver Age Sentinel, a Super Hero RPG by Guardians of Order, using either the Tri-Stat dX System or d20 System. I am assuming that Doug Burke means the Tri-Stat version as it was the original system for SAS. I could be wrong.

Nope, you're not wrong. We're currently playing Tri-Stat Silver Age Sentinels using Gold Rush Games' San Angelo: City of Heroes setting on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month.

If you're interested, drop me an email and we'll see what we can work out. Where abouts in SLC are you located, Selek?

I know the area fairly well. had an ex-girlfriend that lived out there years ago. At least you're fairly close to freeway access, though (which always helps).
