    [CODA] Frontier class Exploratory Cruiser

Found the design on the web and LUGTrek stats on trekrpg.net back in 1999 I think. Liked the vessel and planned to use it in a campaign one day. That campaign never came. When I got "Starships" it was the first ship I tried to convert from LUGTrek. Please point out any too obvious mistakes I made.
Original LUGTrek write-up by Greg van Ausdal.

    Notes:

I would think of this ship as an in-between for the galaxy class and the souvereign-class starships as it combines the hull shape of these two ship classes. Only the prototype is operational. Other ships of this line were put on hold during the DW. What happens to the design in the aftermath of the war remains to be seen.

    Talking

cold ship. I'll take a look at it when I get home and have the book on hand...but for the record..your ship is bigger
A brave little theory, and actually quite coherent for a system of five or seven dimensions -- if only we lived in one.

the design looks solid, but I must ask, why so many people on a warship? Or did you redesign the Tactical heavy cruiser to be an explorer?

When I found it it was labeled a Heavy tactical cruiser. But I more or less made it an explorer. So many design characteristics it had in common with the Galaxy and the Souvereign and the armarment was not strong enough to make it into a warship. So I decided that it was a joining of hulldesigns, trying to combine older parts with newer one. It became a big spaceframe but finally the Souvereign put it all into a smaller frame and to better use.
Besides, I don't like to build warships.
