I wasn't sure where else to put this, but I have been milling over the possibility of running a Star Trek game (CODA rules) at MEPACON (Mid-Eastern Pennsylvanie Gaming Convention) April 2nd through April 4th and want to know if anyone on the boards will be interested in participating. Here's the idea I have for the game:

Federation vs. Klingons!:
One side plays the bridge crew of a Federation starship and the other the bridge crew of a Klingon Bird-of-Prey with both sides trying to get a hold of a Starfleet Intelligence agent who has stolen information endangering Federation and/or Klingon security. This would be set either pre-Star Trek VI or during the time in which Chancellor Gowron broke away from the Khitomer Accords (I'm leaning towards the latter).

Potential Problems:
1. Finding enough players to adequately crew each ship. This may not be as difficult as I fear, but this also includes the potential problem of everybody wanting to be on one ship or the other, but nobody on the opposing side to challenge them as directly as I would like to see happen.
2. I would require another gamemaster to handle the two groups. I have one friend who may be interested, but isn't comfortable with GMing the game, let alone for a bunch of Klingons (He's not as familiar with Klingons as he'd like to be). My wife might also help, but she isn't sure about GMing for the multiple hours I want to try to do (if practical, I am hoping to GM for 12 hours over the course of the weekend, for the free registration and T-shirt). My plan is for each GM to GM for first one side and then the other and back again (while this could get confusing, it also helps the GMs adjust for what the other team is doing!)

I can't think of any other problems right now. If anyone is interested in joining for this particular game or even just wants to give input, please reply. Also, if you are looking for information about MEPACON 2004, please check out their website:
