Heh. I assume that United Artists will negotiate a much larger share of the revenue due to the success of the LOTR films. Either that or wait until New Line's production right expired so they can do both Hobbit film production and distribution by themselves.
I know it sounds unfair to New Line Cinema, who put up most of their moneys to producing three films, whereas UA wouldn't be willing to put provide the budget for two films when Peter Jackson initially approached them (it can't be helped since UA owns the film rights, unfortunately).
