    Question on Advancement

    Hi,

I really flipped the books for this, but I didn't find an answer... There is a maximum modifier for Reactions? For Attributes and Abilities the max. is 12, but what about Quickness, Willpower, Savvy and Stamina?

Courage and Health, they got a max. too?

I haven't cracked open my Trek books in a while, but I expect it's much the same as the LOTR game. Caps on attributes, but no caps on reactions, health, or Courage.

There's an attribute cap? Then why does the chart in the Player's Guide explain how to figure Attribute Modifiers for stats above 14?

The attribute cap is 12 plus any Species Modifiers. Thus a Gorn (from the Aliens book) could have a Strength of up to a 15.

And Ineti's right. No cap on Reactions.

Could someone please point me to the caps on skills, attributes, etc in either the PG or NG? As of yet, none of my players have gone over these limits, but the first time I've seen these caps are here.

Page 78 of the PG covers the attribute cap and page 98 covers the skill cap.
