    Enterprise info

I was wondering , maybe Doug or Don can help out, how much of the info from the proposed ENT booklet was not used for the current sourcebooks? I know the starships (Raptor and NX-01) and aliens (Suliban) but how much more info is available. Just curious

Most of the major "stuff" that people want/need did make it out:

    NX-class ("Starships")
    Shuttlepods ("Starships")
    Raptor ("Starships")
    Suliban ("Aliens")
    Nausicaan ("Aliens")
Denobulan ("Aliens") [Edit: Er, I guess not!]

Unfortunately the good sized bits on how to run a campaign, all the equipment (phase pistols, et al), character write-ups and a deck-by-deck description of the NX-class still have not been released. There was also some additional background/history with a timeline.

Of course, the ENT SB had all this material in one nifty spot which made it really handy.

One of the things that I'm quite proud of that you all will probably never see, is the opening introduction to the ENT book; it's quite an inspirational piece and incorporates bits of the main title theme song into the exposition. Oh well.

Yeah, where's the Phlox-man's peeps? I need that info for an upcoming Series!

I do have some stuff that I wrote for ICON somewhere... but I'll need to look around for it.

Right here on my hard-drive, apparently.

As I've said before, Decipher could earn a lot of good will by releasing the ENT book in some capacity--be it online or otherwise--rather than sitting on it since there's not going to be an LE anymore. *sigh*

That's not what I said. I said the LE was canned.

My apologies, I didn't get your acronym. Having a thought about it I realise you meant Limited Edition.

would love to have the info on the phase pistols/rifles. It'll also be nice to have some more ship info (Vulcan and Andorian) .

THIS I would like to see more than anything else for Star Trek.
"The prime motive [of LotR] was the desire of a tale-teller to try his hand at a really long story that would hold the attention of readers, amuse them, delight them, and at times maybe excite them or deeply move them. As a guide I had only my own feelings for what is appealing or moving, and for many the guide was inevitably often at fault."
