    "Lord of Darkness" - the Second Chronicle

    The adventure continues in "The Lord of Darkness: the Second Chronicle"! The story picks up where last year's chronicle left off, and the first part (including a synopsis of the original chronicle) is now available on my website:

    The time is the 15th Year of the Fourth Age. A new Fellowship has been dispatched from Rivendell by King Elessar to find the missing Dunadan sage Belemir, and on their quest the heroes have discovered an unspeakable evil from a forgotten age. They pursued Morgoth's Angril to Rhun, where they led the Men of Dorwinion to victory at the battle of Galleth's estate. In the new chronicle, the heroes attempt to track Belemir across the Far East. They have ventured to the town of Marsburg, home to the sage Dama who may be able to tell them more of the legend of the "Iron Jewel" and how its shards may be found. However, upon arriving they find the town besieged by the Easterlings of Golaric's tribe, out for revenge against the people they blame for stealing their sacred tribal totem. The heroes must cope with war, diplomacy, and treachery if they are to save Middle-earth from the re-emergence of an ancient evil...

    The rest of the first part of "The Lord of Darkness: Second Chronicle" has been posted up on my website. This update takes the PBEM through to the end of the first story session. Finbor, Eogar, Frolin, Rard, and their new companion Bergalad are forced to deal with the treacherous Easterlings who have had their shard of the Angril stolen from them by Baldur...
