    Wel, if you have competent characters (well, perhaps overly so), decent sensors and reason to look. Or at least get to roll, a 16 isn't too bad. It shouldn't be too difficult to manage.
    Let's see: System Operation 8 + 2 for int +2 from speciality = 12
    Then you need a roll of 4 on 2d6. Those are good odds.
    Even against the 20 of the best klingon cloaks, that's an 8, just over average, and I haven't added any bonuses from decent sensors on the target vessel, or odd edges in yet.

    Ofcourse, you could try to do like I'd expect mines to do, and play dead. Cut power. Whatever they call it in the book. I do believe it's good for a +10 to detection difficulty, but if they do spot you, you're so dead.
