Like so many of the long-time supporters of this site, I would be sad to see it go. I, for one, would gladly pony up funds to support it if that's what you think is necessary to keep it going.
On the other hand, I have to agree that Star Trek as a whole has lost it's steam over the past several years, reaching an all time low with the launch of Enterprise. Given the lack of support on the part of Decipher, and given the waning influence Trek seems to be having in general, perhaps the time is ripe to shut the site down and let it go once and for all.
Sure, I would be sad, particularly given the stuff I've learned and the friends I've made here. The fact, however, is that there is little point in continuing if "the love is gone." I wish I'd known that maintaining this site was so expensive, Don. I'd certainly have tossed some $$$ your way to keep it going long before now.
In any case, I am supportive of whatever decision you finally make. I hope to continue seeing everyone here every now and again, but if Trek-RPG does fold, I know that there are other places to get together and chat, share ideas, and talk Trek.
Best of luck, Don. Let me know if I can do anything to help.

Our country's past progress has been the result, not of the mass mind applying average intelligence to the problems of the day, but of the brilliance and dedication of wise individuals who applied their wisdom to advance the freedom and the material well-being of all of our people.
