Nope, I just needed a random officer to take the con, and made up Lt. Pohjola on the fly. I am not certain whether there are any other Starfleet characters any longer, or even if thee and me are in command of Solstice. In the absence of confirmation from our august narrator, I have just picked up the ball and run...

Not exactly, the senior staff that is supposedly aboard the Solstice will indeed be your senior staff, i.e. the players. I am quite glad that RaconteurX made up an NPC on the fly.

Starates I will be working on and getting that coordinated.

The plans are also very good, I had forgot about them even though I have a printed set.

Matt, should I modify my above post, because I was assuming that the Solstice bridge crew were the staff I was going to have on Starbase 113?

If the rest of them ever make an appearance! David and I were not the only people playing Starfleet officers, as I recall, but the others all seem to have gone missing. Aitrus Colso posted once, mistakenly believing the Starfleet officers had already arrived at Starbase 113, but he has posted nothing since.

Heck, I can create the entire crew complement Solstice if you like. I assigned names, ages, species/ethnicity and ranks to all sixty members of my Engineering crew in the now-defunct Artemis campaign... what's another fifteen or twenty?

    ReconteurX,

Matt gave me a link to the games info website with a crew manifest on it. Here is the address if you would like it.

    OOC Updates

Sorry I haven't been around much in the past 4 days, My cable internet has only been working sporadically, not long enough to do anything.

As of right now there are no other starfleet players. A couple people have had to drop out because of time issues. Aitrus Colso, the operations officer, and the medical officer have all dropped out. We should still have a Chief Engineeer(Klingon). If you guys know anyone that would like to play just tell them to send me an email.

OCC : I confirm as the Klingon engineer that I am still around (and that my damn PM box seems intent on remaining full no matter how many PM I delete ).
However, I have to warn that I'll be unable to play since next monday (04/12), on account on being on holiday. I intend to start playing actively once I'm back.

If the computer terminals are working, he will check the nearest one for any report on Starfleet's whereabouts. He will also ask for the log of the most recent arrivals to and departures from the station (hoping for some clue as to the cause of the disarray here).

If he finds out nothing that way, or if the terminals are down, he will head for the nearest turbolift to Engineering, thinking it the most likely place that any remaining tools would be stashed.
There are no starfleet ships in the area.

Deciding to go to the nearest turbo lift, you walk 2 m behind you and step onboard the turbo lift. It takes you down 5 decks to Engineering Storage and the Entrance to the Fusion reactors and Computer Core.

If not, he tears off a nearby panel to engage the manual release.
    Any results?

The door has power going to it and you easily walk in. The quarters are cramped with four bunk beds on each side of the wall with a table and food replicator in the center and far wall respectively.

Lumok mutters to himself something about Klingons and their lack in sense of decorum. Deciding to work quickly, he makes this room his base of operations. He does a sensor search of this level to determine the location of any computer terminals, replicators, etc. -- any working or could be working equipment that may be of value.

    Sys Operation (Sensors) - (6+5) + 5 - 2 = 14

According to Steve Pugh's stardate calculator (which correctly places the date of Deep Space 9's recapture in 2374 and is thus likely more accurate than the TrekGuide calculator) Stardate 50814 is 24 October 2373, 10:25. "Children of Time", the twenty-second episode of Deep Space 9 Season 5, has a Stardate of 50814.2 (12:10). "Rocks and Shoals", the second episode of Season 6, has a Stardate of 51107.2 (02 February 2374, 12:35). This is 293 Stardates or just over three months between the two.

"A Time to Stand", the first episode of Season 6, implies that several months have passed since the Dominion War began. The Player's Guide states that the War began with the Dominion/Cardassian alliance, which occurred in "By Inferno's Light", the fifteenth episode of Season 5, Stardate 50564.2 (25 July 2373, 04;45). This is almost three months to the day before Stardate 50814, the starting point of our campaign, and just over six months before "Rocks and Shoals".

Deep Space 9 is retaken in "Sacrifice of Angels", the sixth episode of Season 6. "You Are Cordially Invited...", the episode which immediately follows, has a Stardate of 51247.5 (31 March 2374, 11:25) and supposedly life aboard DS9 is returning to normal. This is rather astounding, given that "Behind the Lines", two episodes before "Sacrifice of Angels", occurs just under five weeks (Stardate 51149.5... 23 February 2374, 23:20) earlier. Would a few weeks prove adequate for conditions on DS9 to settle down enough to permit Dax and Worf to begin wedding preparations? It's canon, so I guess it is!

Whatever the case, my earlier post has been corrected to Stardate 50813.46, factoring in the established time of day (05:41 hours). Four hours and forty-four minutes later, at Stardate 50814, Solstice could be almost two trillion kilometers (.2 light-year) away from Starbase 105 if it did Warp 6, cruising speed for a Nova-class starship. According to the Narrator's Guide, a distance of one sector (twenty light-years) can be covered in nineteen days at Warp 6. Nineteen days is roughly 52 Stardates, meaning we will arrive in the Pheben system on Stardate 50886 (roughly 12 November 2373, 10:15).

Great Explanation! And perfectly as I had planned it.

Replicators are in every room as far as you can tell. There are approximately 40 quarters on the deck. There is a small computer terminal in 4 of the 40 quarters, one being the one you are in. Sensors are barely functioning, most of the information was given to you on a map displayed by the computer.
