District 9 has possibilities. But it does superficially resemble Alien Nation.
The Hurt Locker, brings back memories - not all bad.

Yeah District 9 is very cool looking, as is Inglorious basterds! Looking forward to both!

I'm looking forward to Inglorious Bastards (or however it's misspelled), although I expect it to be more in the vein of Grindhouse than Tarantino's earlier films. District 9 looks good as well, and I'd say the resemblance to Alien Nation is fine by me. The film wasted the premise, and the series never had a feature budget. Hopefully this will be the best of both worlds.

Inglorius Basterds might be a remake of a 1978 film by the same name but spelled correctly. I couldn't find the 1978 film on imdb.com but it's available on Netflixx:

It's not a remake of that film. Tarantino just pulled the title and the WWII setting. But it will surely be filled with homages (or rip-offs, depending on your school of thought) to dozens of film with that setting.

These two just popped up on my ondemand trailers:

And Surrogates: http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi3313697305/
Both look really cool!
