    A humanoid species that evolved from cats rather than monkeys (which is something their proud of noting from time to time). With their striped fur and playful attidude, Felinoids make the bridge of any starship a lot more colorful. Some suspect that they are secretly trying to prove that they can be more versatile than humans.

    The Kitik'Ats are a race of Felinoids native to the region where Space Station K-9 is located. While at first suspicious and wary of the Federation and Starfleet, they are now forging a strong alliance and considering Federation membership. Some Kitik'Ats have requested Federation asylum and a few have even joined Starfleet. The Furrious Star Navy protects the star systems with Kitik'At colonies, affiliate races and of course their homeworld of Pössi. It should be noted that all Furrious Cadets swear vengeance against the greatest mythological enemy of the Kitik'At race: Tuèti Boid.

    Kitik'At kittens can walk on all fours within a day of birth, and on their hind legs in a few weeks, though they lurch (there's a Star Trek reference here, people ) for years. After 2 or 3 years, their parents and often, other family members, start teaching them basic skills and abilities. After that, the less metropolitan families send their kittens to a public school at age 5 or 6, to learn more about the universe. The majority visits distant relatives instead, and off-world if possible. Between their 8th and 9th birthdays, the kittens return home briefly (or earlier, and not quite so brief, if they're homesick, a rare trait amoung the Kitik'At) and sign up for a University. The Academy for the Noble Arts and the Scientific College are popular choices.

    Kitik'At Early Life Packages, 5 points:
    Streetk'at: Streetwise (Sylvestrïa) 1(2), Planetside Survival (Urban) 1(2), Vengeful -1 or Obligation -1;
    Military School: Law (Kitik'At) 1(2), Unarmed Combat (Furrious Martial Arts) 1(2), Code of Honor (defend all k'ats, bring bad k'ats to justice) -3, Athletics (Marching) 0(1), Bold +1 or Contact +1;
    'Spacer': Shipboard Systems (Sensors or Flight Control) 1(2), Bargain (choose cargo) 1(2), Impulsive -1 or Arrogant -1;
    Colonist: Planetside Survival (usually Forest or Jungle) 1(3), Athletics (Climbing) 0(1);
    Or choose traits from the list in the Core Rulebook.

    Almost 70% of the adult Kitik'Ats has gone through (or is going through) a mandatory 1.5-year service in the Furrious Star Navy, though this number is decreasing as more and more young Kitik'Ats seek their future outside Kitik'At space. In the year a Kitik'At becomes 16 (legal adulthood on Pössi and most colony worlds), s/he receives a draft order; while students can 'reschedule', only special cases are granted full dispensation. At PAW (Personal Attitude Weconnaissance.....OK, this needs a little work...) Camp, the weak and the meek are filtered out and sent to the Administration and Military Press divisions, respectively. The others are fully trained and must serve wherever and however the Furrious Star Navy requires. The tough physical training and the 'I'd trade the lot of you in for one enlisted K'at' treatment the rrookies get from Furrious Officers helps them grow up and loose the bent-over body poise so common in Kitik'At children.

    Kitik'At Serona (gee, wonder where I stole this?) Packages, 5 points
    PAW Camp: Athletics (marching) 0(1);
    1st tour & on-job training, choose from: Administration (Furrious Star Navy) 1(2), Propulsion Engineering (Impulse) 1(2), Systems Engineering (Replicator Systems) 1(2), Computer (Research) 1(2), or increase Fitness by 2 and add Vengeful (former Commander) -1;
    2nd tour: increase one specialisation by 1, or increase Fitness by 1 and add Dark Secret (pulled bad prank on former Commander) -1.

    Kitik'At who went to Military School skip PAW Camp and may buy skills freely during their Serona.

    Overlays:
    -Kitik'At 'Spacer' 40cp
    Administration (Freighter Administration) 1(3)
    Bargain (choose cargo) 1(3)
    Command (Freighter) 1(2)
    Computer (choose) 1(2)
    Diplomacy (Commercial Treaties) 1(2)
    Engineering, Any (choose) 1(2)
    Energy Weapon (Foamaron Blaster) 1(2)
    Language, choose customer 1
    Law (Commercial Regulations) 1(2)
    Merchant (choose cargo) 1(3)
    Personal Equipment (choose) 1(2)
    Shipboard Systems (choose) 1(3)

    'Spacer' Specialisation, 5 points (This is instead of the Serona; most Kitik'At 'Spacers' stay 'Offworld' after reaching adulthood);
    Command: Command (Freighter) 1(2), "Promotion +1", Presence +1, Dark Secret (evaded Serona) -1;
    Engineering: Engineering, Any (choose) 2(3), Dark Secret (evaded Serona) -1;
    Security: Shipboard Systems (Tactical) 1(2), Energy Weapon (choose) 1(2), Dark Secret (evaded Serona) -1;
    Operations: Shipboard Systems (Flight Control or Operations) 1(2), Administration (choose) 1(2), Dark Secret (evaded Serona) -1.
    Note that Spacers operating in Kitik'At space should have Dark Secret -2 instead of -1. Kitik'At Spacers who did complete their Serona can't choose their specialisation like this, since they didn't have time to learn at the school of hard knocks, like the evaders.

    Computer (choose) 1(2)
    Dodge 1
    Energy Weapon (Foamaron Blaster) 1(2)

    Personal Equipment (Claw-held Scanner) 1(2)
    Shipboard Systems (choose) 1(2)
    Unarmed Combat (Furrious Martial Arts) 1(2)

    Starship Tactics (choose) 1(2)
    -Engineering:
    Administration (Logistics) 1(2)
    Engineering, Any (choose) 1(3)
    Engineering, Any Other (choose) 1(3)
    Personal Equipment 0(1)
    Physical Science (choose) 1(2)
    -Science/Sensors:
    Computer (choose) 1(2)
    Personal Equipment 0(1)
    Science, Any (choose) (choose) 2(3)(3)
    Science, Any Other (choose) 1(2)
    Shipboard Systems (Sensors) 0(1)
    -Combat:
    Energy Weapon (Foamaron Blaster) 1(2)
    Law 0(1)
    Security (Security Systems) (choose) 2(3)(3)
    Shipboard Systems (Tactical) 1(3)

    After that, 10 point Tours of Duty.

    Actually, it's kinda cool, Rob. People are probably just at work, right now.

    I know I'm late, but shouldn't this be better named Pudit'At?

    No, but it'd be a great name to use instead of 'family matriarch'. Thanks Perrryyy!

    Thank you. But now I'll have to convert them to Coda and try to get 'Dan Moppin' to playtest them

    Talking

    Be careful, Loki was also listed as a playtester, and he may be prejudiced toward this race
