    Thanks. The ship and the image is from one of Jackill's Guides. I know a number of times people have posted write-ups and others are left wondering "well, what does it look like?" so I thought the size comparison would help

    I'm tempted to do a "unofficial" Mk II version updating it for TNG. The Solaris class was supposed to be a bridge between the Constition's and Excelsior's, as well as a proposed design for the Excelsior that was turned down. I've used it in Icon and in Coda, and the ship can hold it's own fairly well. The writeup as given is for the Movie Era but I can easily see it lasting into TNG, possibly with some major upgrades and being used in the Dominion War.
