NOTES
The T’Korex-class Warbird resembles a smaller version of the D’Deridex-class Warbird with an underhull which extends all the way to the command hull instead of connecting via a boom. The T’Korex is considered to be one of the Romulan navy’s workhorse ship, being able to fulfill many mission requirements. The T’Korex has slightly less firepower than the D’Deridex and is also slightly less protected but it is much more swifter. Many Romulan commanders do prefer the T’korex over the D’Deridex for its handling characteristics. Many T’korex-class warbirds saw action during the Dominion War and many were lost. Some fleet commanders have expressed the desire to replace the T’Korex losses by pressing on the production of more D’Valek-class Swift Warbirds and the new Norexan-class Attack Warbird. The remaining T’korex-class however will serve the empire well into the 25th century.

NOTES
Most Romulans consider the D’Gerok-class Assault Gunship one of the most unusual-looking vessels in their fleet. It was designed by an engineer who had previoulsy studied Cardassian shipbuilding techniques, which explains why the D’Gerox uses embedded warp nacelles. This has the effect to better protect the propulsion systems and to give the D’Gerok a tighter shield envelope but at the expense of maneuvrability. On the other hand the D’Gerok is endowed with a very powerful suit of weapons for its size, having especially powerful plasma torpedo launchers that can wreak havoc on enemy forces. For both those reasons the D’Gerok is particularly well suited for attacking stationary targets like space stations and planetary installations (which is why the D’Gerok is atmosphere-capable). The D’Gerok is quite unwieldy and doesn’t fare nearly as well against mobile targets like starships, which is why it must often be acompanied by swifter escorts. When the Romulans declared war on the Dominion squadrons of D’Gerok gunships with their escorts were the first ships to strike at Dominion bases, causing untold devastation.

NOTES
The Kaath-Pek is a smaller and more streamlined version of the standard Breen battlecruiser. It designed similarly, with different pods connecting to the main hull. The main upper pod contains many weapon arrays and the main bridge. Often during the Dominion War alliance ships struck at the starboard spar and tried to severe the upper pod from the main body of the ship. The Kaath-Pek is used more as an all-purpose support ship rather than a frontline vessel, often as a hit-and-run ship in rear actions or in piracy activities.
The Breen attack fighter has a shape like an elongated ‘T’, with some sort of fork-shaped device at the forward end. The Breen attack fighter is particularly well suited for ramming attacks, and it is also quite fast and nimble. It has a good armament suite but it is a rather brittle fighter and it usually does not survive for long in extended fights. It is also equiped with a cloaking device, which coupled with its high speed makes the Breen attack fighter perfect for lightning strikes.
