The Highlander class scout was developed in 2377. It was meant to be a long range scout vessel, that could be tabs on the Federation's borders. It is not well armed, but it can outrun almost any other vessel, as it was designed to do.

I forgot about the picture. http://www.ltcmdrmatt.com/highlander001.jpg

    Nice

I see the entries for the propulsion systems. You have a LF-50 Mod 1 WPS wich means she cruises at warp 9....yikes! She fast all right. For a ship her size shes well armed. Her torpedo systems aren't cutting edge which means no Quantum Torpedoes (fine by me). Her sheild treshhold is a little low, for a Federation starship (Multiple redundancies and all) , but she's what I'd expect from a perimeter action vessle. Fast and well armed.

    Good work!

Actually I am not satisfied with it myself. I cannot see this ship landing. Just does not jive with me so I nixed that. I also downgraded the warp to LF-35 with max warp of 9.8, and gave a better threshold. V 1 at top, and V2 below.

    Cool

Okay, so now you've got two ships. Give them differen designations. The first ship can be the "Wallace" class Perimeter Action vessle. The second can be the Highlander class scout. I would still nix the landing capabilities and use the space up the threshold on the first.

I've always had a softspot for perimeter action vessles....I once ran a FASA based campaign on an Akyazi class. My players loved the whole STarfleet military aspect during the Federation/Klingon cold war era. circa 2272-2293.

I can't see the picture, just a 404 "Image/Item Not Found". Would love to add art to my site from here & vice versa.
