What are these . . . a link would be a plus . . .

Are these within the Star Trek Universe? Are we looking at something not seen in Star Trek, an addition to it?

For if what is stated in memory alpha is correct . . . the standard torpedo tubes could be coilguns much like the MACs you describe . . . and thus there is no need for the addition you provide.

But that is open to debate.

Accelerator cannons are the FASA pre-curser to Torpedo technology.

I'll say I like the rocket information, it'll be useful. The launcher I'd just build a spread one, standard torp launcher and call it generic (Metro if that is what you did with the launcher, great, but I haven't crunched the numbers myself yet).
