The last of the designs I was requested to come up with (by Mig1 this time I believe).
I've based the idea on the LUG TOS Gorn Battlecruiser, including roughly how it looks and the weaponry choices, etc with influences from Task Force Games view of Gorn ships as big, tough things. I've tweaked a couple of design rules to fit this view so see the notes at then end.

DESCRIPTION AND NOTES
The Khis-class Battleship is a venerable design, the Gorn would say traditional, that has been the preferred flagship of Gorn task forces for the past 70 years, being continuously upgraded to keep pace with advances in technology. In addition to it's command and heavy assault roles, the class is often used as an explorer due to it's extensive facilities and superb self-defence capabilities, a trait often called upon when facing the unknown. The fact that all but 2 of the original 20 vessels built are still in frontline service is a testament to the skills of the Gorn shipyards and the class' phenomenal durability.
The vessel is a simple trimaran design with 3 roughly cylindrical hulls, the outer pair connected to the larger central hull by massive amidship pylons. The two warp nacelles are mounted above and below the main hull's centre on arching rollbars connected directly to the two secondary hulls. Many of the ship's systems are triplicated, with smaller reserve components mounted on the outer hulls, and although not intended to operate independantly if one section was severed it would be self-sustaining with limited motive and tactical capabilities.
The weaponry consists of 6 high-yield torpedo launchers and 8 narrow-wave disruptor arrays. The torpedo launchers are mounted in modular, self-contained pods that each include magazine storage for 60 torpedoes and 30 probes. These pods are connected to hardpoints that are fitted dorsally and ventrally at the bow and stern of each of the 3 hulls, thus it is quite common to see a different configuration to the one shown above, for example 4 forward and 2 aft. Using workpods carried in the shuttlebays the crew can reconfigure the torpedo pods in approximately 90 minutes per pod without any outside assistance required. Each of the three hulls mounts a pair of disruptor arrays, one forward and one aft, with the last two arrays mounted one apiece on the two rollbars to cover the dorsal and ventral arcs. Earlier versions armed with lighter disruptors had a extra pair of arrays, mounted port and starboard on the appropriate outer hull, although these were removed in a refit that took place some 20 years ago.


DEVELOPER'S NOTES
The following systems are non-standard, representing Gorn shipbuilding technologies:
1. Outer & Inner Hull SU costs: 5 x Size instead of 4 x Size. This allows the higher hull resistance and represents the vessels durability.
2. Outer & Inner Hull Resistance: Maximum value increased to 12.
3. The personnal and emergency transporters are each increased in size by 1 SU to represent the lrage size of the Gorn. (NB. Quarters, etc haven't increased in size, they're just more cramped by Starfleet standards.)
