    Lightbulb K'T'inga Class Revisit

Well, I'm at it again. I've redone the K'T'inga class as I see it during the movie era. As always opinions are welcome.

I believe it is more than a match for the refit connie, but has doesn't have the sensor deficiency as listed in Starships.

    Talking

    Always a Clasic, Good job

1 question though, Shouldn't it be a little faster at sublight speeds?

I'm not sure the components in Starships give many options for faster impulse engines on a ship of this size at this launch date. (I don't have the book handy, though.) There's room for enhancement through traits, of course.

Besides, if a K't'inga is going to haul around this kind of firepower (more than a Constitution refit, by the book), there probably should be some kind of tradeoff. I like the idea of a house rule that imposes a +/-1 relative TN modifier per 0.1c speed difference to Helm maneuver tests for opening and closing range, so this would give the K't'inga some modest disadvantage in later years.

Personally, I have always went along with the Fasa view that a single K'Tinga was no match for an Enterprise-Class ship (canonically the Constitution-Refit Class) and that the K'Tinga's strength lays in its use in numbers (and its rear-firing torpedoes but that's a Fasa-specific quality)
