Well the scenario in Enterprise is certainly much more interesting than the ones in STAGFF! It's probably quite a long adventure as well. The only thing I would suggest is spicing up the Ring creature random encounters.

Unless, of course, you were planning on using Enterprise rules with the STAGFF scenarios. TBH, we tried to run a game of STAGFF using the RAW, the Slaver Ruins scenario, Heritage miniatures, and... and it wasn't very fun. Too much time trying to figure out the rules. Seemed like there was a different mechanic for everything. I haven't run Enterprise yet, but I think it would go more smoothly (of course, I translated it so I pretty much know it by heart!).

It is true that STAGFF is...rough. Definitley not the best choice I could have made for the very first RPG I tried to run :) But, with 30 years of experience under my belt now, I think I could do better. It would require filling in the gaps some.

But yes, ENTERPRISE is a better game although very sparse by today's standards...but imagination can help with that :)

I might not do this...just because it would take a lot of convincing to get my group to do it. But it would be amusing :)

I just downloaded both these games. I bought Star Patrol and still have the book all these years later, so I'm glad to have the Trek version. One note: many of the illustrations were used by Ral Partha for their 25mm space miniatures!
