I'll bet you the Trek folks take the LOTR creature creation rules from Fell Beasts and adapt it to Trek. :DQuote:

Another great cover. Decipher's got one kickin' art department.

Okay, I don't have the Fell Beasts book, and don't plan on getting it. Does the system in that book cover the creation of sentients including things like culture? Since the Trek Narrator Guide system can be used for sentients, I would guess the same would be true for the Fell Beasts book, but I imagine there is no room in Middle Earth for fans to create their own sentients, so I would guess there would be nothing about culture. Unless the LOTR RPG writers are kind enough to cater to creating one's own Fantasy world.
Is that Tin Man in the far right corner?
As I said, I am verrry sure it is the "Alpha Omicron creature" (that's what it is called in the Starfleet Survival Guide, the drawing resembles that creature a great deal)Quote:

It appeared in a TNG episode. A pregnant female tried to fry the Enterprise and died, as Worf tried to make it stop with a low intensity phaser beam. Troy cried :D, then the crew noticed that the creature was pregant and they had to perform a cesarean section to free the little one. Remember?
I just looked it up, the Episode name was
Galaxy's Child
Not the Tin Man bit again...although shittles is still a funny concept.Quote:

This wasn't a jab at the episode itself...there's an "Aliens Sourcebook" thread around here (http://forum.trek-rpg.net/showthread...&threadid=7904) about some of the descriptions including Tin Man. If you have the Aliens book, look at the description of Tin Man/Gommtu and look at the part about "shuttle creation"...I think you'll get it.Quote:

Isn't that creature under morphed Worf the Mogatu, from the TOS episode "A Private Little War". Attacked Kirk, McCoy phasered it.
Yep.Quote:

Not a TNG episode...but a TOS episode. I forget the name, but it had women in furs (in 100 degree weather) and lots of people getting phasered.Quote:
