DESCRIPTION AND NOTES
Fleet Data: A biological starship is a genetically manipulated species that is compatible with most humanoid species and is willing to act as a transport from one system to another. Though the size is equal to that of a Federation’s Galaxy-class the vessel is still a juvenile creature. All though the species is hard to detect by even Starfleet sensors the vessel can be followed by the unusual emissions of the natural warp drive that the creature uses for travel. At first glance of a sensor the space born entity appears to be just another asteroid lost among other asteroids.
This species gives birth to babies the size of a single occupant Federation Shuttlepod, and once the specie has reached three years old the creatures begins to grow an offspring asexually. Once the offspring reaches the sufficient size of 200 SU’s the off spring is moved into the hanger bay where it will stay until it reaches the size of a Federation runabout. This species is more a flight than fight and will naturally avoid contact with a hostile entity. The juveniles will be allowed out of the hanger bay when the parent feels that it is safe to do so to learn to feed.
